Kathleen Edwards and City and Colour at The Orpheum March 26

Vancouver is known as a “no-fun city” but I beg to differ. With the Junos just around the corner, and touring bands such as U2 and Coldplay coming into town, how can people still justify this place as boring? Obviously bands love this beautiful city otherwise they wouldn’t even bother coming to play a show.
And this brings me to City and Colour. Dallas Green, known for his screamo past in Alexisonfire, will be making his way with his not-so-side project to The Orpheum Theatre on March 26th. If you haven’t heard of this band, then turn on your radio and tune in to any station and you will no doubt hear his sweet, tender voice radiate throughout the airwaves.
He’ll be bringing Kathleen Edwards with her, someone who can just as easily steal the show. She’s opened up for Willie Nelson, John Prine, Aimee Mann, My Morning Jacket, John Mayer and Bryan Adams to name a few. So if you’re in for a night of nice relaxation in this beautiful sit down venue, then come on down and let yourself have an eargasm.
