I agree Petty was amazing. But you sort of expect that from him, so I rather write and tell you all about the ones that surprised me the most. With a career like Tom’s, you expect him to put on a great performance, so I rather write about the others who will one day be in Petty’s shoes.

thanks for the read… good to get a non-mainstream review of what it was like there.. i saw some video clips at the sun website and gord downie looked the most charismatic. jay-z and tom petty looked boring to me. and the flaming lips guy, while it was cool to see him roll around in the ball, the clip of him singing and playing an acoustic guitar was kinda dull.
